Featuring approx 3.7 million viewers, the 2010 Winter Classic at Fenway Park pitted the hometown Boston Bruins against the rival Philadelphia Flyers, with the Beantowners earning a 2-1 overtime victory to serve as the first home team to win a Winter Classic. Scott Hartnell would assist on the Flyers lone goal, and we offer a Flyers Winter Classic jersey worn by the star during the warm-up. Sporting a label with “58” sizing affixed to the collar, NHL and Reebok crests grace the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic winged-P Flyers team crest in layered tackle twill, “19” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Hartnell” across the attached black nameplate in single white twill. The Winter Classic patch is affixed over the right breast. A MeiGray patch numbered “G13308” resides on the inside hem with an NHLPA COA to accompany, and according to the MeiGray population report, the jersey is a "White Retro - Winter Classic" and "Worn During WarmUp 1/1/10 - NHLPA Set" specimen.
Worn during just the warm-up of the 2010 Winter Classic, the jersey sports light expected wear with no obtrusive marks. A second document – an NHLPA letter – will also accompany the COA.
