Good indeed is this 1957-58 Henri Richard rookie card for those of you who've been searching/longing for a respectable example, with this one slabbed GOOD 2 by PSA. A side-to-side crease is visible through the shoulders of the 11-time Stanley Cup champion, with a light horizontal crease extending from the cuff of Henri's left glove over to the right edge and a small diagonal crease near the top left corner. In his third big league season when cards like this were found in Parkhurst packs, Henri was already considered one of the NHL's stars, with part of the write-up on the back of card #4 reading "takes a back seat to no player when it comes to colourful, fascinating hockey skill" and "certainly one of the most mature thinking players in hockey today." Talk about a smashing start to a career - Richard was a Stanley Cup winner in each of his first five seasons!
