Enjoying three consecutive 40-goal seasons with Toronto during the mid-1970s, Lanny McDonald would be selected twice for the NHL All-Star Game throughout his career, first in his 90-point season of 1976-77, along with in 1982-83, a season that witnessed a career-high 98 points. Hailing from his personal collection, we have a jersey with use attributed to McDonald as honourary captain of the Campbell Conference All-Stars at the 1992 NHL All-Star Game in Philadelphia. A 1947 “throwback” style jersey, a Maska Ultrafil label with affixed production date sticker (12/91) graces the collar along with a size “54” fly tag, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with a beautiful tackle twill NHL shield crest in red and white, 5 tackle twill stars have been affixed arching over the upper chest, with “9” on verso in matching material along with the NHL 75th anniversary crest over the right breast. Lanny has signed the reverse “9” in black marker, with a few stains over the captain’s “C” to note. A signed LOA from Lanny McDonald will accompany.
