Selected third overall in 2011 behind Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Gabriel Landeskog, Jonathan Huberdeau scored over 400 points in his first eight seasons, and earned the Calder Memorial during his rookie campaign in 2012-13. The offered signed skates hailing from his first season have been photo-matched to his first NHL game (Jan 19, 2013), where he scored his first goal and added two assists. CCM U+ models with Reebok E Pro blade holders, “Huberdeau” and “3/4 inch” decals have been affixed to the underside of each boot, with “11” embroidered to each lower reverse. Great game-use is exhibited, with heavier wear to the boots including surface marks and cuts over the toe sections, with additional cuts and marks to the blade holders. A pair of Reebok skate guards is also included.
Getty Image #159736022 (Jan 19, 2013 – FIRST REGULAR SEASON GAME) has been matched to the wear over the bottom of the embroidered “1” on the right skate, and to the extended partially-detached piece to its left. The image is also matched to the two small "bubbles" on the outside of the left skate below the CCM logo, particularly the example with the chip. Additionally, Getty Image #160161887 (Jan 22, 2013) has been matched to the black mark at the start of the CCM logo on the outside of the right skate, with the white "bubble" below the "M" of CCM and the small chip in the large "bubble" on the reverse of the skate also visible.
