Backstopping a number of clubs in the WHL and ECHL throughout the late-1980s/early-1990s including the Regina Pats and Lethbridge Hurricanes, Dusty Imoo later spent nine seasons in the former Japan Ice Hockey League with the Seibu Bears Tokyo from 1994 to 2003. The New Westminster native also represented Japan at the IIHF World Championships in 1998, 1999 and 2000, with use of the offered signed “Spider-Man” mask attributed to his time at the World Championships as well as the Seibu Bears in the late-1990s, based on the similar Spider-Man themed mask he wore at the 1998 Winter Olympics. Produced by Eddy Masks with labels affixed to the interior along with intact cage, back plate and interior padding, the mask features a solid red Spider-Man motif with images of the web slinger at each side, with the artist signing the back plate. Imoo has placed an attractive silver paint pen signature over the forehead section that displays beautifully. An Eddy Masks storage/carry bag is also included.
Exhibiting prolonged game use with surface wear throughout, there are small edge ships visible – mostly at the tip of the chin, with scratches to the surface and a few marks. The interior padding also shows moderate wear with some minor soiling to the mouth guard.
