Granted an OHL expansion franchise in 1981, having previously played as a Junior Tier II team, the Belleville Bulls won the 1998-99 J. Ross Robertson Cup Championship and made a pair of Memorial Cup appearances before relocating to Hamilton at the conclusion of the 2014-15 season. We have a pair of Bulls jerseys from the 2000s, with a retro example worn by Chad McCaffrey in 2003-04, along with a warm-up specimen worn by Nick Pageau in 2006-07. First, the McCaffrey jersey has Nike and Pro labeling with “54” sizing, with a tackle twill team crest and “23” on the sleeves and verso in matching material, with alternate crests over each shoulder. Heavy game-use is immediately apparent, with numerous puck and stick marks across the front along with additional examples over each sleeve. The Pageau jersey was worn during the warm-up of every Bulls home game from Sept 23rd through Dec 30th according to the accompanying team LOA, and has CCM and Reebok labeling with “54” sizing, with “Bulls” sewn to the chest and “Belleville” to the left sleeve in individual layered tackle twill. Sponsorship patches also grace the upper chest and lower reverse, with “24” on the sleeves and verso in layered drop-shadow twill. Light use is exhibited, with a few marks and faint burns. A signed 4” x 6” photo of McCaffrey posing with the jersey is also included.
