Seeing action in just 30 contests for the Montreal Canadiens upon his return to the club before tragedy struck, the 1936-37 NHL season witnessed the passing of Howie Morenz in March, with the Habs still able to manage a first-place finish in the Canadian Division. This mini-panorama photo features the 1936-37 Montreal Canadiens. At just 3 ½” x 8” and produced by noted lensman Rice, the small glossy-stock image depicts the full team in the traditional on-ice pose including Morenz, Joliat, Blake, Siebert and others, with all members and management listed beneath. There is just a bit of surface and edge wear to the vintage print, with touches to each of the corners.
