Awarded hardware from the hockey career and life of Winnipeg Jets superstar Dale Hawerchuk is available for your collecting pleasure, with each of the offered nine trophies hailing from his personal collection. Included, we have five hockey trophies (one is a plaque) and four golf, with the hockey trophies from Dale’s early-1970s minor hockey days, including a trio of small players mounted over marble/wooden bases for the 1971 Forest City Tyke “A” Champions (the plaque has detached from the base), 1972-73 Minor Novice Champs and 1974-75 Minor Peewee Champs, followed by a larger trophy with mounted athlete and player (swivels) for the OMHA Champs of 1975-76 (15”). The wooden plaque was presented to Dale by the Ranklin Inlet Hockey Association for his support in 1991 and features an engraved metal plate and mounted N.W.T. floral emblem (9” x 12”). The golf trophies range in height from approx 9” to 14”, with examples for the “Fingers Golf Low Gross 1985”, “Hole #13 Racoon Run GC 4-28-83”, “Murrays of Neepawa RCMP Tournament 1985” (bend to the golf club) and “Adams Cup of Newport 3rd Place 2010” (the bowl is loose and swivels). The trophies show expected age and handling wear, with an LOA from the Hawerchuk family to accompany.
