Extremely popular throughout the mid-century, table top hockey games allowed youth to partake in realistic rink action minus the skates. We have a circa late-1940s/early-50s Munro example (with accompanying box) constructed of metal and wood, measuring 36" x 15", with all wooden milk bottle-shaped player pins intact (except two) along with the knitted nets. The playing surface remains clean, with just light to moderate overall wear present. The instructions are affixed to the underside of the game, with none of the original ball bearings serving as pucks remaining. The original shipping box shows expected wear, with printing along the side revealing that the game originated from Eaton’s store in Hamilton.
