Two big bold flowing autographs penned by hockey's greatest left winger enhance this pair, with Bobby Hull signing his 1968-69 O-Pee-Chee card in blue marker. Certified by PSA and given an appropriate mark of MINT 9 is the signature, while card #16 (hey, his first number in the NHL), looks to be crease-free and VG-EX. The write-up on the back begins "Hockey's biggest name at the present time" and concludes "Plays more minutes per game than anyone else, and is reported to be hockey's highest paid player." Bobby broke his own record with 58 goals the season that cards like this were discovered in packs, his 107 points second only to scoring champ Phil Esposito. A beauty gold ink autograph is also present, with a modern 1991-92 Ultimate Original Six card recalling Hull's record-breaking '65-66 season in which his 51st goal made him the first player to score more than 50 (he ended with 54), with his 97 points also a new mark. We rate The Golden Jet's gold autograph also a "9".
A small vertical scratch in the PSA holder is to report; near the end of the "Hull" signature, just above the tomahawk shoulder patch.
