It's always fun to have an original wrapper included with a set of vintage cards and that's the case here, with Parkhurst's 1961-62 hockey card effort charming collectors over the years, the various color backgrounds indeed pleasing to check out. After a multi-creased first card of Tim Horton (F), a creased #2-Mahovlich and a Dave Keon rookie (G with a few light creases and a scraped/coin-rubbed back), there's hardly a crease spotted and pleasing crease-free EX to EX-MT cards with uniform toning on the backs amounting for the vast majority. Howe (EX+), Sawchuk (EX-MT), Beliveau (EX) and Richard (EX) are among the notables, with Plante (VG-EX) a tad lesser. A light bend, not really a crease, affects 7-Shack (VG+), with a crease spotted in 8-Pulford (VG+), 50-Provost (VG) and 51-Pronovost (VG). Wax stains are observed on the front of a few (3-Bower), while a few making it to NM are also to be discovered. Only a small edge tear (upper left corner) and a trio of small holes down the right edge of the yellow section are noteworthy with the scarce wrapper. A classic assembly, with a bonus wrapper, awaits its new home.
