Two-time Stanley Cup champion Pavel Datsyuk’s 2001-02 Nike game-used stick is from his NHL rookie season with the Detroit Red Wings. Datsyuk had 35 points in his Hockeytown debut when he finished fourth in Calder Trophy voting and helped the Red Wings win the Cup. Datsyuk’s well-worn white tape job on the knob has red paint transfer and his No. “13” handwritten on it along with "X" on the lower back of the knob. The stick features Datsyuk’s customary blackened lower shaft and it comes with a Red Wings COA with Hockeytown Authentic hologram sticker with registry No. 22449 that matches the one applied to the bottom of the front of the shaft just above the heel. Tape was removed from the blade, which has part of the bottom edge worn down, particularly towards the heel, which has exposed the inner layers of the blade. A white label that reads “5. DATSYUK-01/02 RC Stick” is affixed to the back of the lower shaft.
