Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Featuring the signatures of a number of past legends and Hall of Fame members, this lot offers an assortment of signed items, including programs, pucks, framed photos and more. First, for Hall of Fame signatures we have a pictorial puck signed by Rocket Richard, a postcard and “Strength Down Centre” book signed by Jean Beliveau, a Black Hawks jersey (with “The Golden Jet” and “HOF 1983” notations), Vancouver Canucks cap and 1990s puck signed by Bobby Hull, photos signed by Guy Lafleur (8” x 10” Oldtimers Hockey Challenge) and Johnny Bower (5” x 7”), and a puck signed by Andy Bathgate. There are also a trio of signed 8” x 10” photos set in homemade hockey stick frames including Geoffrion and the Richard brothers, a framed “Legends of the Game” display with Denis Potvin signed 1975-76 hockey card (11 ½” x 14 ½”, also signed on the reverse of the frame), and an Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame sweater signed by Bower and Ken Dryden. Also included, we have 5 signed programs ranging from the 1960s to 1980s with 3 multi-signed (one by the LA Kings 1980s and one by the late-1970s Leafs) and two 1970s Canucks programs signed by Orland Kurtenbach. The majority of the signatures display well, with the Etobicoke sweater signatures bleeding into the material. The Beliveau book and postcard are in lower grade, with moderate wear to the signed programs. The Bower photo, Richard puck and Etobicoke sweater will be accompanied by COAs.
