Setting an NHL record for points scored by a rookie with 77 in 1971-72, Marcel Dionne saw action against Czechoslovakia in a post-tournament match with Team Canada on September 30th after the Summit Series. This rare souvenir 1972 Canada-Russia series paperweight was originally presented to Marcel Dionne for his participation with Team Canada, and it originates from his personal collection. At approx 4” in diameter, a gold coloured hockey player sits encased in 1” thick lucite, with “Team Canada “1972” over the base. Sporting light wear throughout including a few minor scratches and blemishes, the keepsakes displays beautifully. A signed LOA from Marcel Dionne will accompany.
