Splendid images here feature two members of the Chicago Cubs' back-to-back World Series championship teams of 1907 and '08, with the back of the card recounting some of "Big Ed" Reulbach's exploits, including how the star pitcher tossed back-to-back shutouts in a doubleheader against Brooklyn during Chicago's 1908 pennant drive. One of Reulbach's battery mates after he joined the Cubs in 1909, catcher James Archer is also depicted, while famous second baseman Johnny Evers, shown sliding into third base, is described as "one of the most annoying - to the other side - base stealers among the professionals. With no annoying flaws, this example boasts an appealing grade of EX-MT 6, making it a Pop 14 with three NM-MT 8s, 13 NM 7s and an EX-MT+ 6.5 ahead of it on the PSA Population Report, the latter telling of close to 100 such triple folders to have been encapsulated by the company since its inception.
