Signing with the Edmonton Oilers in 2009, Jordan Eberle was first assigned to the teams' minor league affiliate, the Springfield Falcons, with the 2009-10 season split between Springfield and the Regina Pats. Eberle would make his NHL debut with Edmonton on Oct 7, 2010 vs Calgary. These signed and photo-matched gloves hail from the superstar’s rookie season of 2010-11, where he saw action in 69 regular-season contests. Bauer Vapor models in solid navy with “Eberle” embroidered over each wrist guard, the gloves sport heavy use, with rubbing to the material in a number of spots, with a tear below the “e” of “Bauer” on the right glove. The palms also show good wear, with a leather patch repair to the left hand palm. Each glove has been signed in silver, with a team inventory tag still attached to the right glove. A hologram from the Oilers numbered “7037” has been affixed to the inventory tag, with a matching LOA from the Oilers to accompany.
Regarding the photo-matches, Getty Image #112073118 (April 6, 2011 vs Calgary) has been matched to the large tear over the top section just below the wrist guard on the right glove, and to additional wear patterns visible over the thumb and within the white accent just above the tear, while Getty Image #110695871 (March 22, 2011 vs Nashville) has been matched to the large tear over the top section just below the wrist guard on the right glove, and to additional wear patterns visible over the thumb. A third image has also been used, with Getty Image #111303426 (March 17, 2011 vs Phoenix) matched to the large tear over the top section just below the wrist guard on the right glove, to wear patterns visible within the white accents on the left glove, as well as to the white thread visible extending from the “U” of “Bauer” on the left glove. The tear in the right glove can also clearly be seen on Eberle’s 2011-12 SPx hockey card.
