Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
An iconic design and the image feared by opposing players during the 1993 Stanley Cup playoffs, we have a gorgeous mask designed to replicate the example Patrick Roy wore famously during his Conn Smythe-winning Stanley Cup championship season of 1992-93 with this style of paint job decorating Roy’s Canadiens mask between 1991-92 and 1994-95. A beautifully constructed full-sized replica reminiscent of game-quality examples, a full strapping harness is present as is a sweatband and chin cup along with full metal hardware. With full padding on the inside, cut around the edges in an unrefined way, the mask presents in wonderful condition, with just a few marks present along with some minor edge chips to the paint job.
