Winning a Stanley Cup championship during their first season after relocating from Quebec, the Colorado Avalanche have twice lifted Lord Stanley’s hardware while earned nine Division championships since 2014. This lot contains a Patrick Roy game-issued stick team-signed by the 1997-98 Aves, an Avalanche jersey team-signed by the circa 1998-99 squad, and a limited-edition team-signed print from 1999-00. First, the stick is a KOHO Revolution model in Aves colours, with “P Roy” stamped to the upper shaft, with a date code of “26 Sept 1997” placed nearby. 20 have signed the front side of the blade and paddle in silver including Roy, Forsberg, Kamensky, Sakic, de Vries, Klemm, Krupp, Corbet and others, with the signatures presenting well, with a few very slightly smudged from handling. The jersey was produced by CCM, with “L” sizing, with 19 signing the front in black marker including Roy, Forsberg, Kamensky, Aubin, Parker, Donovan, Miller, Belak, deVries, Odgers, Lefebvre and others, with no issues for the signatures. Lastly, the print is approx 27” x 33”, and entitled "Wild Wild West", with 21 signing in black marker including Roy, Sakic, Forsberg, Odgers, de Vries, Deadmarsh and others. The limited-edition number of “3464/5000” resides over the bottom right, with some wear from handling at each end of the print, with a few indentations and creases.
