Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
The last remaining Quebec Nordique to be active in the NHL, Adam Foote spent the majority of his career in two stints with Colorado which included winning a pair of Stanley Cup championships with the club. From his initial time in Denver, we have a pair of gloves worn by Foote circa 2001-02, along with a pair of matching game-used sticks originating from circa 1998-99. First, the gloves are Easton Z Air models in solid black with “Foote” screened to each, with a “3” also handwritten over each wrist guard. Moderate to heavier use is exhibited, with rubbing to the leather along with blemishes and marks visible, with a bit of paint transfer on the left glove and residue marks to each. The sticks are Easton T-Flex Graphite models with “52” handwritten over each upper shaft, with the original black tape and black cloth handle wrap on one stick, and no blade tape and white over the handle on the other. There is also a matching code written on the underside of each shaft. The sticks show good use with wear to each blade and shaft, with both blades uncracked. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
