Packed with vital team information, player facts and numerous statistics, NHL media guides have always been a hit with collectors, especially inaugural issues representing a club’s first season. This lot offers a huge collection of approx 469 NHL media guides from 28 different NHL franchises, spanning from the late 1950s to early-2000s, with 17 inaugural season issues including for the Winnipeg Jets, Atlanta Flames, Colorado Rockies, Cleveland Barons, New Jersey Devils, Philadelphia Flyers, Minnesota North Stars, Washington Capitals, St Louis Blues, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning, San Jose Sharks, Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators. This is one of the best collections of media guides we have ever offered.
Condition ranges only slightly within the collection, with the majority of the media guides in pleasing condition, exhibiting just expected wear commensurate with both age and handling. A few of the older guides show a bit more wear, and there are earlier specimens from the 1960s/70s that remain in high grade (a number of the Seals guides for examples).
