The first Japanese-born position player to be posted and signed to an MLB club, Ichiro Suzuki enjoyed 28 seasons of major league ball in both the NPB and MLB. The Kasugai native is a ten-time MLB All-Star, with a pair of AL batting titles and three Silver Slugger Awards. Suzuki is also the 30th player in major league history to register 3,000 hits. Representing his MLB rookie season, we have a Florida Marlins jersey signed by the superstar. Produced by Russell Athletics with a label with “44” sizing affixed to the collar, a second label resides on the front left tail, with an embroidered MLB crest over the reverse neckline. Styled with a tackle twill team crest and “51” over the reverse, the 2001 AL centennial crest resides over the right sleeve, and 2001 All-Star Game crest over the left. Ichiro has signed the reverse “5” in white ink, with the signature displaying well. A JSA LOA will accompany, along with a second COA.
