Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Apprised of the possibility of a trade just a mere two hours after winning the Stanley Cup, Wayne Gretzky was dealt to the Los Angeles Kings in 1988 after meeting with owner Bruce McNall and having his conditions met, one of which included both Marty McSorley and Mike Krushelnyski joining the Kings with Wayne. Celebrating his eight seasons in the City of Angels, we have a Kings captain’s jersey signed by The Great One. A CCM Vintage model with tackle twill team crest and numbers, Wayne has signed within the first reverse “9” in white marker, with the signature absolutely flawless. Holograms have been added above and below including from UDA numbered “BAM34472”, with a matching COA from the company to accompany along with the original box.
