A gold medal winner with Team Canada at every international level, Shea Weber joined the Montreal Canadiens in 2016-17 after more than a decade in Nashville, and currently serves as the Habs’ 30th captain in franchise history. This photo-matched Canadiens Set 2 captain’s road jersey was worn by Weber in 2018-19, from December 6, 2018 to January 18, 2019, according to the accompanying LOA. An Adidas band with “58+” sizing appears along the inner collar with handwritten “2”, with NHL and Adidas crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Weber” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, the team patch (A06929) sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GU24247” from the Canadiens has been affixed to the reverse “6”, with a team LOA to accompany matching both numbers.
Exhibiting light game-use with a couple large dark marks near the right cuff, there is also a pair of velcro fight straps that have been added to each side of the jersey. We should further note that while the LOA states use from December 6, 2018 to January 18, 2019, the jersey has been photo-matched to a Feb 5, 2019 match vs Anaheim. Getty Image #1128996376 (Feb 5, 2019) has been matched to a number of sewn particularities within the captain's "C", as well as to the two extended threads visible within the center of the team crest.
