Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Second to just Luc Robitaille as the Los Angeles Kings all-time leading goal scorer, Marcel Dionne has scored more assists and points than any other player in franchise history. The Little Beaver earned a pair of Lady Byng Trophies during his Hall of Fame career, along with the Art Ross Trophy, in 1980. We have a collection of signed Dionne photos totaling fifty-six, with a framed photo display, forty-five matching Team Canada photos and an additional ten 8” x 10” Kings photos. First, the framed photo display features an 8” x 10” image of Dionne in game-action, with “HOF 92” added to his perfect blue sharpie signature, with a name plaque inserted beneath. Double-matted and framed to approx 14 ¼” x 18 ¼”, a hologram from the Montreal Canadiens numbered “003471” is affixed to the bottom right corner, with a matching COA to accompany. Next, the forty-five black and white Team Canada photos are 11” x 14” and picture Dionne along with Guy Lafleur and Bobby Orr, with Marcel signing each across his image in blue sharpie. The signatures display well, with light wear to the photos. Rounding out the lot, the final ten 8” x 10” photos include two different images, with three of one photo and seven of the other. Each has been signed in blue sharpie with “HOF 92” added, with light wear to the photos themselves.
