Selected 4th overall at the 1993 NHL Entry Draft by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Paul Kariya would spend the bulk of his HOF career in California, including his best season in 1995-96, where he registered 108 points. Kariya’s signed 2002-03 Mighty Ducks “Hockey Fights Cancer” game-worn captain’s jersey with a size 52 flag tag is from the first season Anaheim made it to the Stanley Cup final. The Hockey Fights Cancer 2003 patch is sewn on the right breast of Kariya’s white home gamer, which he wore for a 2-1 win against St. Louis on Jan. 12, 2013 when he assisted on the game-winning goal. The MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2002-2003 Season patch is stamped “Promotional Jersey” and displays registry no. A07472. The MeiGray population report states the jersey is a "Promo-Home-Hockey Fights Cancer". Kariya dated his autograph “2003” to the the right of his number on the back. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
