This extremely rare George Armstrong game-used stick from the mid-1950s is team-signed by members of the 1955-56 Toronto Maple Leafs. The Chief’s CCM Pattern Made Professional hockey stick displays great game use, including numerous black marks, a crack in the middle of the shaft and cracks and wear at the heel and along the bottom of the blade. “Armstrong” is factory stamped on the front of the shaft with his number “10” written in black above it. His traditional black tape job remains intact on the knob and part of the blade. Armstrong and fellow HOFers Lumley and Duff are among the 15 Leafs who signed in pencil on one side of the shaft along with Smith, Cullen, Hurst, Thomson, James, Hannigan, Reaume, Migay, Balfour, and others. The autographs are in excellent condition overall on this team-signed gamer from the Leafs’ great who went on to hoist the Stanley Cup four times as team captain during the 1960s.
