Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
The "big three" as far as key rookie cards in O-Pee-Chee's ever-popular 1971-72 issue goes are offered up here in inviting NM-MT 8 form, having recently been examined by PSA. The cards of Canadiens legends Ken Dryden (what? a goalie posed with his mask on!) and Guy Lafleur (first player to score 50-or-more goals in six seasons) received (OC) qualifiers, with the off-centering of the latter not as obvious as the former. The RC of Marcel Dionne(NM-MT 8) completes the slabbed hat trick. Dryden and Lafleur were dominant in the 1970s, helping the Habs to multiple Stanley Cup triumphs, while Dionne kept on scoring and scoring well into the '80s, finishing with 731 regular season goals. The rookie cards of three superstars are available with one swoop here.
