Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
A five-time NHL All-Star, Rick Nash is a veteran of more than 1,000 games played over 15 seasons, with the bulk of his career split between the Columbus Blue Jackets and New York Rangers. We have a photo-matched Rangers alternate captain’s jersey worn by the Brampton native in 2017-18, from Dec 5, 2017, to Feb 17, 2018. An Adidas “56” size band runs across the inside collar, with NHL and Adidas crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in drop-shadow blue and red tackle twill, “61” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material along with “Nash” across the affixed nameplate. We should note that the NHL 100th season patch that originally sat over the right sleeve has been removed but is included, with the team patch placed over the fight strap. A hologram from Steiner has been placed just below the bar code from the Rangers on the inside collar, with a matching LOA to accompany.
Exhibiting light wear, there are a few marks present, with a small material-backed repair near the right elbow. Getty Image #920641392 from Feb 17, 2018, has been matched to the pair of black marks to the right of the #61 on the right sleeve.
