Selected 70th overall by Cedar Rapids at the 1999 USHL draft, defenceman Mark Nenovich first played four seasons at the University of Minnesota, where he and the Golden Gophers were NCAA tournament champions in 2002. From the late-1990s/early-2000s, we have a Gophers jersey worn by Nenovich, circa 1999-2001. A Pro label sits affixed to the collar beneath a Nike crest with “54” sizing, with an embroidered WCHA patch over the reverse hem. Styled with the school’s trademark large “M” over the chest in layered white, gold and burgundy tackle twill, “2” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Nenovich” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. There is also a Nike swoosh crest over the front neckline, with the dual-clasp style fight strap intact. Exhibiting just light wear with board burns, scuffs and fabric pulls over each sleeve, there is a bit of light pilling to the interior, with a small hole over the lower right side.
