Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

A veteran of over 1200 regular season NHL games, Ryan Smyth has also won gold while representing Canada at literally every international level, including the World Championships, Spengler Cup and Winter Olympics. From his first of two seasons in Colorado, we have an Avalanche jersey worn by the Banff native in the 2007-08 Stanley Cup playoffs. A CCM size 58 label is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the familiar Avs team crest, the V-neck sweater has been accented with textured and layered sleeve and verso numbers, with matching Bigfoot alternate crests over each shoulder. A few dark marks are present over each sleeve, with heavy blood staining covering the left sleeve and lower right sleeve, with a bit also visible on the team crest and lower front. A patch from MeiGray numbered “E08514” sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the garment is a "White Set 4 / Playoffs" example.
