Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Seeing action with Swedish clubs including Brynäs IF, Bodens IK, Luleå HF and others, Mikael Lindholm appeared for a single season in the NHL with Los Angeles. We have a Kings jersey worn by the Gävle native in his rookie and lone season, in 1989-90. A Maska Ultrafil label is affixed to the collar along with NHL and CCM crests over the reverse hem, with the sweater measuring out to roughly a size 52. Styled with the Kings team crest that saw use from 1988 to 1998, the white V-neck has been accented with grey-over-white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Lindholm” over the nameplate in matching material. The dual-clasp fight strap remains intact, with just light to moderate game use present, with a few marks along with burns over each sleeve and blue paint transfer. There is also a small slit just above the left cuff.
