Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

Taking place in the late summer of 1991, the Italian Grand Prix was the twelfth race of the FIA Formula One World Championship that season, with McLaren-Honda driver Ayrton Senna taking pole position and finishing the race second behind Williams-Renault driver Nigel Mansell, who started second. We have a program from the event, and it’s been signed by the first and second place-finishers, along with Belgian driver Thierry Boutsen. At 6 ¾” x 9 ½”, each driver has signed on or near his respective image in matching blue ink, all on separate pages. With just light to moderate wear to the program including the covers, the signatures display beautifully, with no issues. This would be Senna’s third and last Drivers' Championship, with Mansell winning five races in his first season back at Williams.
