Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A plus-minus master, Brad McCrimmon was drafted 15th overall in 1979, dressing for 6 different NHL clubs during his lengthy career. We have a stick used by the 1988 All-Star during his first of three seasons in Detroit in 1990-91, with this example team-signed. A KOHO model with “McCrimmon” stamped-on, his number “2” has been handwritten over the upper shaft, with “90-91” written beneath. Retaining the original black tape over the handle and blade, both side of the shaft have had the identifiers removed, with the front side covered with approx 23 black ink signatures including McCrimmon, along with Brad Marsh, Steve Chaisson, Tim Cheveldae, Rick Green, Yves Racine, Paul Ysebaert, Bobby Dollas, Keith Primeau and others. Nice use is exhibited with wear to the taped section of blade, with numerous puck marks over the lower shaft and heel section.
