Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Traded to the Quebec Nordiques the season before the club made the move to Colorado in 1995-96, Stephane Yelle won a Stanley Cup with the Aves in 1996 before heading to Alberta and the Calgary Flames. We have a Flames third jersey worn by the Ottawa native in 2002-03, his first year in Cowtown. A CCM label with “56” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered KOHO and NHL crests on the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the Flames alternate team crest that saw use from 1998 to 2006, the solid black V-neck has been accented with slanted triple-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching Flames crests over each shoulder. Dark marks are visible over the lower front and sleeves, with heavy board burns with resulting small holes over and near each elbow section. A MeiGray patch numbered “A00999” has been affixed to the inner hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Black 1st Regular Season" example.
