Four prominent players are featured in this lot, with game-used sticks offered from Adam Oates, Peter Bondra, Martin Havlat and Bobby Ryan - with this last stick photo-matched. The Oates is a Sher-Wood SOP 9030 model used while with the Bruins mid-1990s, with “Oates” and “12” stamped-on, with the original black spiral pattern over the handle, with the original tape removed from the blade. Light to moderate use is exhibited, with wear to the fibreglass over the back of the blade. The Bondra is a Sher-Wood SOP 9950 model that saw action with the Caps circa late-1990s, with “Peter Bondra” factory graphics, and “12” twice-handwritten over the original white handle tape. The original black tape on the blade is intact, with wear to the underside and at the heel. The Havlat is a signed Sher-Wood SOP 7000 model used circa early-2000s with the Sens, with “Havlat” stamped-on, and the original white tape over the blade and cloth wrap over the handle. The blade is separated at the tip, with Havlat adding a black marker signature near the heel section. Lastly, the Ryan stick is a Sher-Wood EK15 “St Patrick’s Day” special model for 2014, in fitting black with green graphics, with “Ryan” factory graphics along with the limited number of “1/12”. The original white tape is present over the blade and handle – with handwritten “6”, with Ryan signing over the heel in silver. Getty Image 452928778 from March 16th 2014 has been matched to the “1/12” limited-edition number, while Getty Image 480667397 has been matched to the pattern of black marks on the back of blade.
