Considered the golden age of NHL hockey, the Original Six era spanned a quarter-century from 1942 to 1967, with a number of noteworthy all-time greats making their mark during the period. Celebrating a number of those individuals, we have a trio of limited-edition framed, multi-signed displays, with a pair for “Original Six” players including goalies and forwards, along with one featuring Vezina-winning HOF netminders. The Original Six goalie display features signatures from Hodge, Worsley, Rayner, Henry and six others, while the Original Six forwards display has been autographed by Lindsay, Moore, Schmidt and three others. The final Vezina-winning goalie display features signatures from Giacomin, Hall, Parent, Bower and two others.
The Vezina winners display is 18 ½” x 22”, with the limited-edition number of “99 of 250” listed, with all signatures executed in silver paint pen. With no issues, the additional signers include Esposito and Worsley. The OS forwards display is also 18 ½” x 22”, numbered “99 of 100”, again with silver paint pen signatures, with the additional signers Laprade, Clint Smith and Frank Mahovlich. Finally, the OS goalies display is 17 ¾” x 21 ¾” and signed completely in silver paint pen, and numbered “168 of 500”. The additional signers include Johnston, McNeil, Bower, Hall, Maniago and DeJordy, with surface wear visible to the print.
