An Allan Cup champion in 1928 with the University of Manitoba Bisons, Winnipegger Andy Blair spent nine seasons in the NHL, making an All-Star Game appearance in 1934 after winning a Stanley Cup with the Maple Leafs in 1932. We have a signed 1933-34 Hamilton Gum card of the Manitoba HHOF inductee, with this example encapsulated and certified “AUTHENTIC AUTO” by PSA/DNA. Signed in pencil along the left side, the signature displays well, with the card itself in low grade, with corner wear and a few large horizontal creases. The reverse has also been heavily damaged, with most of the text covered by paper remnants left from prior scrapbook removal. Blair passed away at 79 years of age, just after Christmas in 1977.
