The league’s top rookie in 2007, Evgeni Malkin has enjoyed a dozen successful seasons in Pittsburgh, with three Stanley Cup championships won thus far along with the prestigious Conn Smythe Trophy in 2009. We have a pair of gloves worn by the Magnitogorsk native in 2009-10, his fourth season, with these examples used while the team employed their “third” jerseys. Bauer Pro models in deep navy with white accents, “Malkin 71” appears embroidered over the side of each wrist guard, with 15”-1”/35.5 cm sizing listed within each cuff. Light use is exhibited, with each palm slightly darkened, with a 2” oval patch added to the right glove’s palm to rectify a hole.
