J.J. Daigneault’s photo-matched 1997-98 New York Islanders game-worn jersey is from the veteran NHL defenseman’s short stay on Long Island. Acquired from Anaheim in a trade on February 6, 1998, Daigneault played 18 games for the Islanders and wore this gamer recycled from the previous season that has CCM and size 54 flag tags in the neck and evidence of a former nameplate. The outline of the former 25th anniversary on the right breast is matched to Getty Images photo #308611 from a game in Boston on April 9. There are four team repairs on the sleeves, which have marks and board burns, and reddish-brown stains on the front tail and bottom of the team crest. Comes with J.J. Daigneault's signed LOA.
More game wear shows in a few black marks on the numbers on the back and marks on the front tail.
