Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
HOF defenseman Paul Coffey’s early-to-mid-1980s Oilers game-used stick dates to the dawn of the Edmonton Stanley Cup dynasty, when he was generating remarkable offense from the back end thanks to his incredible speed and remarkable ability to rush the puck. Paul’s circa-1982-85 Sher-Wood 5030 wood stick has “Coffey 7” stamped on the shaft below his original tape job on the knob and a partial illegible date stamp on the back of the shaft. Coffey’s tape job was removed from the now-bare blade, which has worn through the fiberglass along the bottom edge that has cracks towards the heel, and along the diagonal seam on the front of the blade. Comes with Paul Coffey’s signed LOA.
