The St. Louis Blues chose American defenseman Erik Johnson with the No. 1 pick in the 2006 NHL Draft in Vancouver. Johnson’s 2009-10 Blues game-worn jersey is from his second full season in St. Louis, when he returned from tearing both the ACL and MCL in his right knee, which scuttled his sophomore season. After posting 33 points in his 2007-08 rookie season, Johnson resumed his progression with 10 goals, 29 assists and 39 points for the Blues in 2009-10. Size 58+ flag tag hangs in the back of the neck and “Lettering by Liebe Set 1 – 9/15/09 Bert Godin” is screened in individual white vinyl letters inside the rear tail. There is a team repair on the white stripe on the left sleeve, and more game wear shows in board burns and burn holes on the right shoulder, right sleeve, a few light board burns and marks on the left sleeve. Comes with a Blues BlueNote Authentics COA that states that Johnson wore this jersey from “9/15/09 – 12/18/09”.
