Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Securing seven straight seasons scoring 20 or more goals, Ken Wharram was part of the original Scooter Line along with Stan Mikita and Ted Lindsay. The Ferris native would spend 11 seasons with the Black Hawks, winning the Lady Byng in 1964. We have a stick issued to Wharram for the 1967-68 NHL season, with this example team-signed. A desirable Northland Custom Pro Glass Fused model with heavily-curved “banana-style” blade, “Wharram” appears over the upper shaft, along with stamps on either side from team supplier Gunzo’s. 12 have signed in red marker – with Wharram signing and adding a dedication - including HOFers Hull, Mikita and Pierre Pilote, along with Mohns, Nesterenko, Martin, Maki, Jarrett, Dryden and Denis DeJordy. The signatures display well, with handling/age wear to the stick.
