Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Widely considered the best the NHL has to offer, Sidney Crosby is a three-time Stanley Cup champion, with any items associated with his career highly sought. We have just that, with a puck used by Sidney to plot his 35th goal of the 2015-16 NHL season on the road vs Ottawa, on April 5th 2016. An empty net marker late in the third that secured a 5-3 victory, a Sens logo graces the obverse along with “Official Game Puck”, while the reverse sports an NHL shield logo with facsimile signature from commissioner Gary Bettman. White tape has been added around the side, with “2016-04-05 Pit#87 19:53 3rd” handwritten in marker. The puck itself exhibits just light wear to the graphics, with no obtrusive wear or damage. A COA from the Sens will accompany.
