A Calder Cup champion with the Chicago Wolves in 2002, defenceman Mike Weaver would appear for a number of NHL clubs throughout his career including Montreal, Atlanta, Vancouver and Florida. We have a pair of game-worn Panthers helmets along with a pair of practice-worn jerseys, with each attributed to Weaver. Used between 2006 and 2014, we have both light and dark Panthers practice jerseys, with each having size “56” labeling along the collar. Full tackle twill Panthers team crests with embroidered detailing have also been utilized, with each having #43 in heat-pressed vinyl letters across the reverse. With light but nice wear present, each jersey remains in wonderful condition. The helmets are both Reebok models with Panthers decals gracing each side, along with “43” over both the forehead and reverse. Each retains its interior padding and strapping, with great use exhibited on each with marks, scratches and abrasions present. It should also be noted that a couple of players wore #43 prior to Weaver's arrival with the club (Serge Payer 2006, Dmitry Kulikov 2010), so the possibility exists that the helmets and jerseys were worn by others as well as Weaver. COAs from the Panthers will accompany each jersey.
