Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Hailing from the very first pre-season games ever played by the San Jose franchise, we have a rare Sharks jersey that was worn by Bob McGill in 1991-92. Maska Ultrafil labeling and a size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with an attractive vinyl Sharks team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with heat-pressed teal sleeve and verso numbers with black vinyl trim, with “McGill” screened onto the nameplate in individual teal vinyl letters. A few large dark marks are present beneath the team crest, with board burns over each sleeve along with a small resulting hole near the left elbow. There are also two team repairs over the lower left sleeve along with pilling to each cuff, with the left cuff torn slightly along the seam. An LOA from the Sharks organization will accompany this inaugural pre-season gem.
