Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Featuring the beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, we have a great document collection of three ranging from the 1940s to 1950s, with each signed by a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Included, we have a Form “C” Agreement for Harry Psutka dated Nov 30th 1946, with amounts paid if assigned to specific minor leagues. Conn Smythe has added a pair of ballpoint signatures that display especially well. Next, we have a Try-Out Agreement “A” for Thane Doyle dated Feb 17th 1953, with particulars listed for the PEI native, with a beautiful bold Hap Day signature present. Lastly, we have a Standard Assignment Agreement for Charles Lumsden dated Oct 10th 1953, with the Leafs assigning the Winnipegger to the Pittsburgh Hockey Club. Hap Day has signed the document, and the signature is perfect. Just expected handling wear is present on the documents, including toning, staple holes, fold lines and light creasing.
