Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018

A gorgeous Bernie Parent 1968-69 Topps rookie card leads here, both chronologically and grade-wise, with NM-MT not over-stating things; it's a beauty! Desirable '71-72 O-Pee-Chee rookie cards of Canadiens' legends Ken Dryden and Guy Lafleur also feature good centering, with however a subtle back crease and corner wear sending the former to VG and peripheral wear to the latter rendering it similarly VG. Darryl Sittler's RC from the previous season displays as a VG card, with a one-inch crease and centering issues, but is technically low grade due to some sticky (nickel-size) residue on the back. Meanwhile, a '71-72 Topps checklist #111 has survived in pleasing unmarked EX-MT condition, with good centering, while a '72-73 OPC checklist #19 is unmarked and VG thanks to a small crease and corner wear.
