Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
With two decades spent as a player for five different clubs including Cincinnati, Baltimore and Los Angeles, Frank Robinson later turned to managing, leading San Fran, Baltimore and Montreal. From his time in Quebec in the early-2000s, circa 2004, we have an Expos jersey worn by the HOFer. A label from Russell sits over the front left tail, along with a size “48” fly tag. Styled with “Expos” fully administered in tackle twill across the chest in attractive script along with “20”, the pin-striped button-up has been accented with “Robinson” and “20” over verso in matching material, with an Expos team patch over the left sleeve and embroidered MLB crest over the reverse neckline. The jersey remains in gorgeous condition, with no unsightly wear or marks. Hailing from the collection of an ex-Montreal Expos clubhouse employee, a 2004 San Juan Puerto Rico Expos patch is also included.
