Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Currently an assistant coach with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, Riley Cote spent parts of 4 seasons in the NHL despite going undrafted. This Philadelphia Flyers jersey was issued to the Winnipegger for the 2010 Winter Classic. A Reebok name band along with CCM size tagging are attached to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. A replica of the 1973-74 home examples, the v-neck jersey features a classic triple-twill team crest in Philly’s traditional black, white and orange, with a single striping band along the lower section. Accented with dual-colour tackle twill numbers along with the nameplate reversed featuring white letters over black, the important 2010 Winter Classic crest resides over the right breast. Issued and never game-worn, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. A patch from MeiGray numbered G13175 sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
