Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

An assistant coach with the Nashville Predators for a number of years, Brent Peterson was selected 12th overall at the 1978 NHL Entry Draft, spending eleven seasons in the world’s greatest league. This Hartford Whalers jersey was donned by the Calgary native in either 1987-88 or 1988-89. A sewn down Maska Air-Knit label with handwritten “17” sits affixed to collar, with an embroidered CCM crest over the back bottom hem. Styled with a layered Whalers team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the green mesh-style V-neck has been accented with sleeve and verso numbers in matching material, with “Peterson” affixed directly to the upper reverse. Don’t miss out on acquiring this important, defunct style.
Game-wear includes a ton of dark marks to the white sleeve and lower front striping bands, with light staining in spots also present. Small resulting holes from burns are visible as well, isolated to the elbow sections, with minimal paint transfer over the reverse hem.
